Poultry breeding
The
poultry houses are divided over four different locations. For hygienic
reasons parent stock, layers and young stock are separated from each other.
The first brigade has a capacity of approxi-mately 550,000 industrial
layers. In the year 2001 103,7 million table eggs were produced with an
average occupancy of 400,000 layers The
second brigade is used for rearing activities and has a capacity of around
500,000 birds. In this brigade day-old chickens are grown to young layers,
where after the young layers are transported to the other brigades. Brigades
three and four are smaller as they are used to grow parent stock. These
two brigades have a capacity of around 60,000 birds each.
We can offer to you high quality birds of different age (from day-old
chicken to old layer).
